I had a samnsung galaxy s epic 4g for a year and half with no problems then the tough screen just goes. I waited 4 days for a replacement phone to come in because as the sprint store guy said " Yea those are crap, always breaking thats why they were replaced so quickly." I get my new one and within a month the phone is literally falling apart. The screen is sliding in the wrong direction and bits of plastic have been falling off exposing the externals. Now my touch screen is going out again and my time went out. Im done with samung.

yep, i have a Nexus S 4g from samsung. OH MY GOD. i absolutely hate this phone. the power button stopped working. i had to keep the screen constantly on which drained my battery power otherwise i'd have to take the battery out of the phone to get it to turn on. i threw it across the room to crack the screen so i could claim insurance on it because apparently the friggin power button was not enough to claim on insurance. so once i got my new phone in ........ MY TOUCH SCREEN DOESN'T WORK. i'll deal with this shittay phone for a couple of months until my update comes in and then i'm going 100% iPhone.

On my way to get gas some fuck face and his wife pull out in front of me and do 10 under and smile at me in the rear view which pissed me off so fucking bad. Yelled at his ******* at the light over the PA and told him how I felt. I ended up passing him only to be slowed down by a soccer mom texting and swerving all over the road. After i gave her a good dose of middle finger I finally made it to the gas station only to see a huge line so now i have to go back up the street to another gas station. Well i got gas and as im pulling into my neighborhood some old fart almost clips me because he was busy looking into the woods. Finally I make it home and next on the to do list was to install my HIDs that were being delivered. While i was getting gas the Postal service tried to deliver it...I drove down the street to find him to get my package yet he tells me he cant give it to me unless im at my house and he wouldnt reverse a 1/4 mile to my house. Now i have to wait til Monday so i can pick up my HIDs. God is out to get me today

^WTH that is crazy. I know that my postal carrier knows me and would probably be happy to release the package especially since he knows me. There are a lot of bad drivers out there, and not a day goes by that someone doesn't almost run me off the road or I witness an illegal or dangerous move.

I am having issues with my check engine light. I have a V6 3.0 2wd, reg cab 1993. The light comes on......doesn't run any different, the goes off, then back on. I checked fluids and belts, ok there. Is this a computer issue? How do I address this? Can I just go to an auto store and say "gimme a computer" and throw it in and be done with it or is this going to be more complicated than that?

well first of all this is the vent thread. your question can be answered better if you put it in the correct sub forum. you can go to advanced auto and they will let you use a code scanner for free right there in their parking lot

I HATE STEAM - The stupid ass program you have to have to play a damn game. Luckily, I only have to validate it once and then I don't have to worry about it. But its still ridiculous!!!

Yesterday my plan was to change the oil & filter, air filter and rotate the tires on my Ranger. To prepare I dropped 1/2 pint of Seafoam in the crankcase on Wed. because this motor was replaced right before I bought the truck and I wanted to switch it over to full synthetic oil. I had to work Sat. so I had the warehouse to myself and use of all the tools and the forklifts. I don't really enjoy working on vehicles but I don't make tons of money so I'm motivated to do what I can myself. Whoever the idiots are that designed this 3.0 liter engine are they should be taken out and shot. I dropped the oil from the pan which wasn't too bad especially since my Ranger is a 4X4 so it sits high enough for me to get under it without having to lift the truck. As the oil was dropping I went in search of the filter. I should have expected some issues because of all the extra drive train around the engine ( I'd never owned a 4X4 before) but I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it was. I found the filter easily on the drivers side from the top looking down. I took my filter wrench and had to pull some rolling stairs to be high enough to reach the filter and tried to loosen it up where I had my first learning experience, the filter sits right below the exhaust manifold and I warmed the truck up before dropping the oil, ouch! I thought I'd try to remove it from below the truck so I got underneath and found there was no way I could do it from down there and I also tried through the wheel well with no success. I tried it next from the top with some heavy work gloves on but had a hard time getting down there with all the stuff in the way. That's when I got my 2nd revelation, in trying to get the band wrench around the filter with the handle in place to be able to tighten the wrench and turn the filter the band hit both poles of the starter which sits right next to the oil filter. Sparks flew and I could smell the burning in the air. I pulled the positive cable from the battery before I gave it my next try. At this point I managed to loosen the filter enough to spin it off with my hand. Then I tried to pull it up and realized there wasn't enough room to pull it up through the top so I dropped it and got back under the truck and worked it around everything and got it out. The oil from the filter spilled all over the starter and other things because there isn't clear space from the filter to the floor. I had to put the new filter up through the bottom and then go up top to install it. I took me so long to get the oil changed I didn't have time to rotate my tires so that will have to wait until I work next Sunday to do that. I'm sure my engine is happy with a diet of Mobil One full synthetic though. The original engine in this truck went 230,000 plus miles when it went so I'm looking at hitting half a million on this engine.

First of all I did post in the appropriate forum and have yet to be answered. I have been to advanced auto. They said they don't have a scanner for my truck to go to pep boys who also won't scan anything older than 1994. I have a 93. So I have to take it to a mechanic

Secondly this is a vent thread. Unless it's referring to exhaust only I feel I have a right to vent on here about my truck or the lack of assistance in my town for reading codes on my truck.

Yeah, it is.

Then you get one of those OBD-I books to figure out what's wrong.
