Finally grew some testes and asked the girl out that I've been wanting to for about 6 months.....results....well..could have been worse, but..not that great either.

Had the ford stealership remove the lower drivers front bolt that holds the shock to the (trailing?) arm and replace it with my own grade 8 hardware. They still charged me $50 fuckin bucks. and I am still getting a mile "rattle" or "clunk" sound (sounds like the hood isn't shut all the way going over bumps) from the lower shock mount. (yes I know originally it was a stud, but the p/o replaced it with a bolt)

how old are the shocks? could be a bad bushing

They're obviously aftermarket a little rusty or paint missing, but the connections feel solid. I can't move the shock back and forth by hand now.

found my real squeak now.

my (lower radiator support on the drivers side?) came loose. The tac welds on it broke and the bushing mount was squeaking against the metal next to it that it is supposed to be welded to.

20 minutes of prybar later and there is no more squeaking (swiveled the bushing/mount around about 100* so it won't touch anything over bumps and bent stray rusted out metal away from the frame)

Some stupid bitch on TV was complaining because the puppy she bought from a pet store died from Parvo because it came from a less than satisfactory puppy mill. So she said now she's only gonna buy from local breeders.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Why the fuck would you buy a puppy when there are thousands of puppies in local animal shelters who need good homes? What the fuck is different between a purebred puppy, and a puppy of different breeds? NOTHING that even fucking matters. I hope your daughter sends you off to a nursing home because then you'll get to see what it's like for those poor puppies in the animal shelter.

reminds me of my mom's one moron friend. she goes and pays $300 for a "hybrid" puppie, from two differant breeds. i told her that was dumb as hell, that "hybrid" is just a fancy way of saying the dog's a mutt! and that if she was gonna get a "hybrid" (MUTT!!!!), she coulda found one at an animal shelter for FREE!!

I love the fact you know what your puppy will look like when grown with a purebred.... but nothing beats the health advantages of a mutt. I wish I could afford/justify rescuing another....
