Yeah, same shit happened to me with my engagement ring, Fed Ex never knocked or anything...and it was a Saturday delivery, so when I got home, my parents and girlfriend at the time now wife was home, I saw a note on the door saying sorry they missed us no big deal, but it was 45 minutes away to where it was AND they closed in 50 minutes from when I got the notice, oh I was proposing THAT night lol...so I called and they were that's fine we will wait for you well I get there in about 35 minutes, and they said oh that driver is at another location and the place is closed....well let's say I had a few choice words and then lucked out that a GM happened to be there doing some paperwork, he went with me to the other location got my package for me and give me 10 bucks for lunch! But yes, I didn't realize I picked fedex for the deck not sure if I had a choice either...

I ordered a necklace for emilie and it wasnt my choice to use fedex (went through an online jeweler) i will make sure to request that they not use fedex next time

Why the hell can't people think and do their f#$king jobs. I mean really what the hell is the point of having an estimating and sales department when they don't even keep track of what the hell is supposed to be on a contract. I have the contract in front of me and it saws only to include these items. So I get hold of our sales guy and ask him to make sure something is going to be and extra to contract, and he tells me to ask customer. REALLY!!!!!! WTF!!! Is it not your job to know this information? Or is it your job to piss me off and make me want to f#&king rip your head off. Damn why are these people so stupid?

They are in turn not stupid just smart, they do as little as they can and have someone else do the work they should do, it sucks and I know how you feel, but its kinda a smart move by them, less work for them to do...I would say complain to HR or something about the issues, but that normally doesn't do much.

Well, I don't have an HR department that I can go bitch to. This is an ongoing thing between my regional branch and our 12 branches around the north western US. I am a project manager for these branches and have no control over the contracts. I just wish these guys realize it is their job and not mine. In fact I can't even do it for them, though I would just to get them fired for not doing shit.

Gonna have to call BS all day on this. Work in customer service for a couple of years and your opinion will most likely change. Both are equally strenuous and/or stressful. On top of that office work you never get exercise you just sit there and aren't allowed to get up out of your chair for hours at a time. That is very unhealthy. Look at it this way if you work a physical job at least you get exercise and don't have to go home and exercise after you get off work.

Sitting in a chair is unhealthy, but it's healthier than working outside in 90+ degree heat. You can work off the negative effects of sitting when you get off of work. But you can't work off heat exhaustion, skin cancer, etc. Oh, and exercise means nothing when you're just doing repetitive motions like mowing lawns. It also means nothing when you're using a push mower on a yard that has grown to a 7" cut, and you have to push it along, even though it is self propelled. If you're getting stressed out in customer service, you're doing the wrong job.

These people make a payment once every fucking four months then call in and ask why their fucking bill is high. Why the fuck do you think your bill is high dumbfuck? Probably because you are a fucking deadbeat who needs to fucking learn a hard lesson and be responsible. I can't wait until the new company takes over and makes these *******s pay their bills or get their shit shut off! Then I can tell them to pay the whole fuckin' bill if you want your services turned on not half or one third or some bull shit. Pay your god damn bill you fucking crackhead!
