This kind of shit pisses me off. Grow Up. You are 21, where the hell is your work ethic? You should be fired, in my opinion. You have been late 3 times in the past 15 months. (counting the 2 hour one), you were written up for language a couple times?, your phone a couple times? Come on. You are at work, not out with your friends. It is time to grow up. If you like your job, maybe it is time to admit that you need to grow up a little and start acting like an adult.

If you want to keep your job, it might be a good idea to go into work and ask your boss for a meeting. Tell him you apologize for everything and that you want one more chance. Tell him you know you don't deserve it but you love working for the company and want to be the best employee you can be. And then be that employee.

x2 as much as i hate to say it.. it sounds like you've got a lot of growing up to do. i'm going to have to agree with ^ this guy.. Work isnt a party (as i type this at my desk at work). The best plan of action to get out of getting fired is what he told you to do. Jobs are too hard to come across nowadays to be messing around and getting fired over stupid stuff. Bc they WILL find someone else that will do the same job you do, for less pay. Welcome to retail, friend. Yet another reason i'm glad i'm out of it.

Ok so if your not in the Mil you may not get but I really need to vent soooooo. WTF is wrong with this unit how the hell are you going to hand out article 15's to soldiers for doing crap when the people above them are doing the same crap or worse. I mean hell so what if she was staying in another roon the dang PLT Sergeant just knocked up a civi contractor and isnt getting into trouble when not even 2 months ago someone else got knocked up they gave them a letter of rep to go in their perm file. OMG I swear I really dont know how much of this F-uped company I can take. I know stuff aint perfect I freaking hate NCO's and people that preach the reg then dont follow it then run and hide behind Top for protection. Tuck these people. wow feel a little better thx

i dont know how long youve been in the military but thats the way is goes man, do as i say not as i do is the name of the game for some officers and NCO's. I saw that crap happen too and i made it a point to not be like that when i became an NCO. you can change units but chances are youll see it there too.

Thats the thing been in 7 yrs now and I am a NCO Ive tried everything that I can to change the way stuff is I run my sqaud as I was taught. Its just everyone above me man its never been like this its beyond anything I have ever dealt with. Heck the company is under investagation for stuff I try and stay out of it if I can and keep the squad good and out of trouble. Im ramblaling now

yeah i feel you, the best thing you can do it just do youre job and try and teach your squad the right way. sucks about your chain though, sounds worse than most thats for sure.

Well I only have a yr left with this unit get to go to Benning for Cav Scout AIT when i get back so I pray I dont end up in another unit as screwed up as this one. I understand every unit has problems but brother if you was here in this unit its worse then high school or IDK even know something that bad to compare it to.

I hate my work. I hate some of the people there. I hate it because some people there get to do nothing. While the other people (me) have to do everything by myself. We need more help. On of our drivers passed away last Tuesday morning. He was 65 years old. Had an annurisim. We need two more key carriers. And a few more drivers. Retail sucks.

Are you serious you don't know shit about mr dude, I'm one of the hardest workers there I do three pals jobs on a daily basis when I work as for my write ups, I'm the only one my super says shit to, I could be sitting down(which I was cause of my bum ankle) and he'll day shit to me right away but yet if some new ppl or someone else is sitting down he dobt say a fuckinh word to them. Seriously don't question my work ethic I could prob work circles around you while I text.
As for being late if that's one reason I should be fired then my whole crew should be fired including the new guys who have missed more work than they have actually worked.
And fuck apologizing, I'm not gonna day dome bullshit about I love working for this company and I'm sorry, that'd be the biggest lie I ever told in my life, I hate my super, I dislike some my other co workers, I hate how the team I work for constantly gets looked down upon and blamed for everything even when it's not our fault, I hate how my team never gets recognized for anything good we do. Brett, chill out. Had you read your contract/application closer, you would have seen the part where it said "Employer holds the right to release employees from position for any reason they see fit", or whatever they put. Lamen's terms, they can fire you if they hate the color of your truck. Being late, texting on the job, etc are all legit reasons for someone to be fired. Remember, your job there isn't a right, it's a privilege. It doesn't matter if you're a good worker, you're obviously not following the rules, and that's a no-no anywhere you go. It doesn't matter what everybody else gets away with, you just need to worry about yourself, and your own image. Follow their rules, do what they say, and you'll find that they won't be "on your ass" as much.
