New topic. I'm tired of hearing about the Casey Anthony case. It's done and over with. People bitching about it won't change what's already happened.

I'm not bitching about the case. I'm bitching about idiots who think their thoughts and opinions make a difference about something that's already happened and cannot be changed. Don't try to call me out.

Ok so I'm a field engineer for a small company out of Atlanta that specializes in support for various check processing machines, big ones like 1000-2000 checks per minute. Been in the field since getting out of tech school in 81. Needless to say the industry is in a landing patern , the same one you would see if you dropped a rock out of a window,
Times are tough.

Tuesday night I check my e-mail and find a message from the head-shed stating that "times are tough and something gotta give" You guessed it, a pay cut. An average of 10% the message says.

I check my pay deposit Wed morning and see I'm short close to 20%.
The other 2 guys that work in NorCal ,same deal.
No explanation ,no sorry guys just if you dont like it there's the door.
What a classy operation I work for!

I've been out of work almost 3 weeks due to illness, my girlfriend is pregnant and I'm trying to buy a home, but since I'm out the savings is starting to get eaten up bite by bite. Where we are living its cheaper to buy a small house then rent a 2 bedroom apartment. cheap rent in the ghetto parts of town are around 800 bucks and a house I can get payments around 900 bucks a month.

But with this crap I went in after getting out of urgent care and manager asked how i was feeling and I told them I dont feel comfortable carrying a 28ft ladder around, and they told me go home, that if i couldnt do all that was required i cant do anything, not even ride along or help out other guys in need of a hand. I just dont want to be hanging off a pole with my legs and arms asleep and unable to do anything to get myself down.

and i hear about all the guys getting forced 6 days 10 hours a day (minimum) and all the OT they are making, wishing i could get my slice to put more money down towards a home but this stupid illness is getting the better of me.

Marie would be so proud of me .... Rory and i are separated. let just say the trust was having issues ... we couldn't trust each other and so we decided to get it over with before it got too bad.

Aye, I have not been on here how but the last month or so there has been some real A-holes popping up...I guess summer has hit and all the youngens get to come on the comp and do nothing but harm!
