I find that 3/4 of the time, going for it doesn't seem to work. It's really sudden and freaks out the girl. What really should be done is show them why they should go out with you. Give them a few good reasons to like you, to enjoy being around you. Then if they're into you, they'll give you hints and you'll know when the right time is.

That right there is exactly how I got two of my girlfriends. With one of them, I actually got her that way originally, then we broke up, and then I talked her away from her abusive boyfriend and got her back again using the same method. And even though we broke up again, i'm still a major part of her life because the reasons I gave her to like me still hold true.

well, its allitle bit of both ways. I dont mean to sound like a player or whatever, but you have to build up there trust, then balls up and go for it. But you dont wanna wait too long.

well yea i wouldn't just creep out a chick i had just met; i had been hanging out with her for awhile and she wasn't really being obvious about what she wanted, so i just went for it.

You know I don't mind looking like and ******* but when it is in my own house it pisses me off even more. We invited my in-laws over for dinner tonight for Father's Day and after spending this morning at my parents my patience is already thin. When my in-laws get here they say their hello's and my mother-in-law goes right to the tv without asking turns it on to some damn show and turns it up so you can hear it anywhere in the house. Then proceeds to yell over it to talk to my wife. God forbid that I go tell her off 'cause then my wife will get all pissed off at me. So now here I sit down in my office avoiding everyone and looking like a prick.

Damn I wish I lived in a different state than both my and my wife's folks.

Raw deal there man. That is why when I graduate college I am moving far away from my family.

But it could be worse. A week ago my family got together when my uncle came into town. He had his family with him, including his two daughters (my cousins). I don't talk much to my family since I don't really care for any of them, so I was kinda just leaning on a wall. My grandma looks at me and says you have any girls lined up Shaun? I said no ma'am I don't. She says well you have two beautiful girls over there (she was pointing at my cousins) that you could hook up with. My Uncle stared my grandma down and then my cousins and I were like wtf. My grandma basically told me to go out with my 1st cousins.

I'd rather have a rude grandma than one that encourages incest within the family.

Damn, that is just messed up. I just can't stand my mother-in-law and since I have been spending the last three weeks helping them with a kitchen remodel I have about wanted to kill her. But all is good. They left and now I can relax the rest of the weekend all few hours that are left.
