I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
It struck me today that most of yall on here have 4x4s. I kinda wish mine was, but it ain't, and that's ok. It's kinda grown on me........even though it was a "right now" vehicle I traded down for to lower my monthly expenses drastically. .....and Lord knows I ain't been made felt unwelcome here, but is this site 2WD friendly? I mean,if it's a 4x4 site and yall really don't want me around......

well alot of them are 2wd (mine included) and some of the 2wd's are lifted and we defintly dont discriminate about how many of your wheels put power to the ground haha

Well mine sits pretty danged high for a 2WD. I figure bein an edge may have sumthin to do with it. I like how it sits cause I'm tall.

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
it does not matter if you have a 4x4 or a 2wd, I know 2wd with 5.0s' in them that will eat the tarnish off a 4x4, so it does not matter, lift it drop it or just straight do the darn thang, lol

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
Yeah, 2wd doesn't really matter. It all depends on what you want to do with your truck. Most of the 4x4 people seem to want to lift their truck and talk about that while most of the 2wd seem to want to lower it or pre-runner it. It may just seem like there are more 4x4's because everyone with it wants to do about the same thing.

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
I sorta thought about a pre runner thing. Lowerin one ain't my cup of tea but I've seen some nice lowered ones. Most of them don't know squat about how to keep their alignment correct though. lol

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
Yeah we don't discriminate here. I own a 2wd GMC truck and just happened my Ranger is 4wd. All you have to remember though is that even the 4wd guys mostly run 2wd hahaha Till the turn the knob or pull the lever and engage the front axle. I love the look of lifted, lowered, and stock trucks. My big thing, to each their own. I would love to own a bagged truck, a v8 drag truck, a v8 4wd truck, a lifted truck, a prerunner in 2wd and another in 4wd, it all really depends on what you have to work with. Make it work for you, ask our opinion and form your own from our thoughts. But make it your own way.

I thought you were going to follow up with something like "some people are using this forum as a personal blog/live chat".
I find the 2wd to 4wd active members ratio to be pretty even, actually.

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
We are around I am in the same boat and purchased my ranger for the same reasons. I have grown to absolutely love these trucks regardless of 2 or 4wd. I can hang with most of the 4wd's for the amount of stuff i do in my truck. 4wd would make my truck perfect but I am very happy with it and love to see members on here with 2wd's that have made them just as aggressive as the 4wd's.

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
My 2wd's gotten me pretty much anywhere I've needed to go and a little more. Makes for a lot more fun in the rain/one snow we get a year too. I'm glad mine is a 2wd b/c I can have just as much fun in mine but still not have the problems that a 4wd has (hub assemblies, cv axles etc...)

Re: I've sorta noticed sumthin here.....
I haven't noticed any prejudice against RWD owners. Everyone seems to accept us for who we are even if our trucks may be a lowly stock vehicle.
