Red face Re: to the guys with wifes or GF that you sleep with...

I'm surprised at the number of people that do the same......

I think of all the posts, I'm probably the oldest dude so far.....

My Wife of 32+ yrs has ALWAYS been cold, it can be 80* out & she's under 4 blankets & in PJs, while doesn't matter what the temp is, all I need is a sheet, and sometimes that too much, so it ends up between my legs just to keep em from stickin together as I sleep, as I sleep in the buff.

But the last couple years, her hips bother her on our queen bed we bought NEW 8yrs ago, and our old bed (NEW 9yrs ago) killed my back, so we put it in the spare room, and she'll sleep in there for comfort. Generally she'll go to bed with me & after I fall asleep, she goes to the spare room.

I do remember my Grandparent havin the same problem & did the same thing, so I guess it's normal for old folks..........

CAN'T VOUCH for you YOUNGSTERS........

I think they all are! Sara actually sleeps with ten blankets at night and i am in no way exaggerating. I told when we get married, a max of two haha. She thinks she has to be warm as SOON as she gets in the bed. She doesnt want to give it time for her body heat to warm the covers up underneath

Damn dude! I like being warm but having the air outside the covers be cold.... Like when its winter I would stack blankets on me but have the windows slightly open...Weird I know

the wife and I use separate blankets, we both have our light fleece blanket and switch to quilts in the winter, still using separate ones. Our dog also sleeps in the middle, so having one big blanket would be a PITA

We have a comforter on the bed and a fleece throw. While we share the comforter she also sleeps under the fleece throw. When we get a new mattress we are going to get another comforter so we can each have our own.

Have her get a matress heating pad. It's like a heating blanket but it goes under the bed sheets. We have one and my wife turns it on before bed to warm it up and it can be kept on all night if you want. The best part is that there are two sides with separate heating elements so I never turn my side on while she can be warm.
