Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
I really wish I lived in an area where I could get away using something like that. About the most I can get away with is in my garage with my 10/22 and subsonic rounds. Empty box of cat litter filled with dirt is a perfect bullet stop.

Can't even do that where I live. Absolutely cannot discharge a firearm within city limits. Despite the fact that the house I live in (rental) sits on 5 acres of woods.

I didn't say I was allowed to. I said about the most I can get away with, haha.
Subsonic .22 rounds in a 10/22 aren't loud at all. My wife's been on the otherside of the garage door in the basement and had no clue what I was doing.

Lol didn't catch what you meant by "get away with" :P I often hear gunfire in the surrounding areas... I've learned not to question where it came from, usually don't wanna know if Ya know what I mean.

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
It's not for shooting at my place. City limits.
I go outside of town to a wooded area that's legal to shoot in. Exploding targets are fun as hell!

Picking up (no pics yet :/) a ruger m77 chambered in 7mm-08. Very excited! It does come with scope mounts which is great since ruger does wider ones on this rifle.
But I still need a scope. Any suggestions? Looking for something with a 40-50mm objective and possibly with 2 power magnification as the lowest setting. Thanks

Awesome caliber, Nikon is a pretty good scope for a decent price. Leupold, Redfield, ect are all good. Not sure what you want to spend but ive had really good luck with all my Swarovski scopes.

it is a great caliber thank you! lol Flatter shooting than a .270 with less recoil. And I'd be looking to spend $150-270ish.

If you reload you can get 162 grain amax that are .625ish bc, now you have a 1000 yard shooter. Nikon should have something in your price range. The cheaper scopes like to change with the recoil.

That's what I'm afraid of. I have a few months till I can even sight it in so I can save some bucks for a nice scope. And a gunsmith friend of mine has the dies for reloading. I'll have to get into that more with this rifle. Thanks!
