Assuming you can get a proper grip on a double stack. I like the concept but my small hands say otherwise. I'm stuck with single stack in .45ACP, so I just carry more magazines.

My most recent build. Delaware Machine lower, PSA parts kit, Magpul STR stock and furniture, Spikes 16" heavy barrel, mid length gas system, Burris PEPR QD mount, Bushnell 1-4x scope, magpul backup rear sight, Troy convertible sling, only upgrade I plan is a free float rail and a 300+ lumen light, likely a Fenix.

Guess you missed the fixed front sight in the picture?

Only fixed fronts for me. I don't go for the real long rails, just adds weight. This one weighs enough, doesn't need more. I don't care about tacticool. I care about functional and accuracy. Only reason I want a different forearm is to free float it. Plus with the mid length and the fixed front sight my bayonet fits. Where as it doesn't on my carbine length rifle.

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
Anyone know anything about the Marlin X7VH Tactical .308?
I have the opportunity to get one for cheap. Not sure if it's worth the money though when compared to a Remington 700sps.

pretty decent gun for the price, it has a pro fire trigger (similar to accu trigger) but its definately not any type of sub moa sniper system

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
I already have a Remington 700sps tactical, which IS a sub MOA setup, however, the price of this Marlin is so damn cheap, I'm really tempted just to snag it up as a backup.

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
Well, money not withstanding, I could just buy another 700.
I'm just curious if it's even worth the $300, or if I should just plunk down another $340 for another 700. It's just going to be a backup rifle / end up in the go bag.

I want to say they are in the $400 range new but I could be way off. You could also "plunk" down another $9700 and grab a .50 lol
