Might have to do that. My 9mm CC handgun is a ruger and I love the quality and the company. Really make good guns. I'll be on the lookout for that ruger .17 when the budget allows.

They have it in a .22lr, 22mag and .17HMR.

I can't remember all the variations of it...but, I already have plans to buy one in .22lr, with a compact, threaded barrel. :-)

The 22lr accepts all 10/22 mags...so, BX-25's, 50's, etc...

The 22mag/17 use the same style rotary mag, but only 9 rounds. They have some aftermarket 25 round mags

It depends on what you are looking for, for a magazine. 44mag had the best prices for my AR10. I was specifically looking at ASC stainless steel magazines though. Aluminum or Magpul might be cheaper else where.

Anybody ever have problems with their mossberg shotguns only firing some shots? Mines been kinda shooting some and just not shooting other shots and idk what it is! The firing pin isn't broken. I broke it all down last night and cleaned and oiled everything. Any suggestions on things I should look at?

Spring is pretty straight. When I push the back of the firing pin it's pretty hard to push. I gotta find a way to test it but I cleaned it and oiled it last night and actually today the whole assemble seems more free moving so that might have worked maybe. Idk it used to not fire every once in a blue moon but the other day I went duck hunting and I can't tell you how many times it didn't fire and I lost shells in the marsh!

Haha no I didn't but I just found one laying around. I saw people say if you tape over the primer and dry fire it, it should pierce the paper. Would you say that's accurate?

If you're not getting a primer strike, focus on the firing pin and spring.

Pull the pin and look through the channel it slides in

Yea I wasn't but I think it's fixed now. I did the test where you tape the primer of a spent shell. And it pierced the tape every time. And I did the pencil test. But in this case I used a marker being as it's bigger. I guess it was just really dirty because last night was the first time I actually broke it all the way down and cleaned it and there was lots of crud in the action and all that. Now I just gotta actually run some rounds through it
