Ohhh gotcha.
Is that the bolt action one?
I have one that was produced from late 30s-60s, and by the makings mine has it was made in the 40s.
Bolt action, but you actually have to pull the firing pin back on it to fire it. Pretty cool
And damn that's old.

Dont. You can buy a mosin for a hondo. I guess they are ok for what they are. Heavy. Kick like a mule. Fairly inaccurate

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
I am looking to get a handgun for CC and personal/family/home protection. I was recommended by a friend of mine that works at a local shop back in my home town, the S&W M&P9c because it's as accurate as the shooter, great balance, and has a great track record with police and armed forces. Also since I am left handed and it has ambidextrous slide release and a flippable magazine release. He also said that with today's bullet's tech a 9 mil is great for home defense because it will still F$%# someone's day up and it's relatively cheap to shoot. He said that the S&W would probably be the best fit but he also suggested the Glock 19 gen 4. I have looked into Springfield XDM's and a few Heckler and Koch's also.
I was just wondering what other considerations I should make?

Thinking I'm gonna apply for CC for New York and Kansas. I have a 9mm (revolver would look ridiculous). How hard is the CC process from start to finish for those of you that have it? Just curious.

I hear new York is a bitch...but in most places it's just submit your prints and wait a month...in the Non-commie states that is. Some places require safety classes too
