Me too about the spotting scope! Every time I go to buy one I end up spending the money on ammo and/or moar magpul lol
Best thing to do is shoot it just like you have it. Maybe that stock is ok, or maybe the hand grip feels to thin. Go and shoot it alot before you waste all that money magpul shit.

Vortex strikefire. Around $170. Great customer service and very durable. Had one on my AK.

Yeah I've been doing that. Thought the stock would be fine but I really just dont like it. I may end up getting a new hand grip too just so I can have the little storage in it lol.

Go here: Primary Arms. Good stuff, reasonably priced.

I have their Aimpoint clone red dot and 3x magnifier on my RRA and the setup works great. I love it.

I want to now, haha. He said that he doesn't know why I want one or need one and said if I ever want to get in a career like law enforcement (which I am sort of interested in), that it may be a stumbling block to have it registered in my name. I'd imagine he knows more than I do since he worked at the sheriffs department for 30 years and did the interviews. It's still a possibility though.

That's how I feel, but he's been in a case where the department turned down a good guy who had a few AR's under his name just because the sheriff is a politician, not a real cop who wants good employees. He doesn't agree with it but he knows that that is how it can be sometimes.

In other news, he did just gave me another gun he used to carry on patrol. It's a 198(6?) colt .45. If I remember ill post pics. Im a big handgun guy so it's like having gun porn to me.

Thats just begging for a lawsuit. And if I were him, Id gtfo of that department ASAP. Thats the kinda Sheriff that doesnt mind breaking laws, aka the kind Ive been dealing with here. It eventually comes back to bite them in the ass and usually the whole department will go down.

Besides, they arent "registered" in anyones name, unless you live in a commie state. Me thinks your dad is the one full of shit here. Lol.

Sent from my race truck so I can win wherever I am!
