So I live in illinois... Right across the river from Iowa. The Walmart over in Iowa just started selling firearms. I am an illinois FOID card holder. So I went in and tried to buy a 10/22 and they said sorry we can't sell guns to anyone from illinois. I'm f*cking irate. There is absolutely no reason for this. I've bought plenty of guns in Iowa. It's not even a Walmart policy. Just THAT particular store policy. I called Walmart corporate and they confirmed this is not a corporate policy and are calling the store manager because they think it's just as outrageous as I do. I'm so pissed off! The only wood stock 10/22 I've been able to find in several months, and they refuse a legal gun owners money!

Walmart refused business you say?

Gotta love dumba$$ employees. They just didn't know how to do the paperwork. I live in WA and have bought from Cabelas in ID...CPL holder as well

Started modifying my wood stock for my 10/22 today. Added a 45* rail in it and put my red/green dot on it. Haven't sighted it in yet but I'm happy with it so far

Not yet. I just got it a couple weeks ago. It has an extended mag release and I had the hogue over mold zombie stock on it

I'm going to need to make a custom charging handle for it that drops down a bit cus the red dot sits right above the current one and makes it hard to get to

Just YouTube how to modify the stock bolt lock. A file and 5 minutes of work basically.
