I liked the S&W Bodygaurd .380 I got my wife I went and picked up a pocket gun for myself. I didnt need the laser sight like the BG so I opted for the plain old Ruger LCP. I didnt like this gun at first but the more I saw them and handled them the more it grew on me, plus it was about $100 cheaper than the BG.

Things I like about the LCP more than the BG: Its lighter, trigger pull is a bit lighter and the edges are more smooth and rounded for concealment. Things I like better about the BG: Slightly better fit and finish, better iron sights and the magazine locks the slide back when empty, the LCP does not do that. Also the LCP relies on the slide coming back to reset the hammer while the BG resets the hammer with the pull of the trigger. I like that for the reason the hammer isnt always c0cked when loaded like the LCP is once you chamber a round BUT, its also why the BG has a slightly heavier trigger pull. Overall both guns are nice little pocket guns.

Do you like the angled grip where it is? I find it odd that you put it on a AR15 Carbine specially that close to the mag housing... That grip is designed for full arm extension so that you can hold the rifle with a firm and natural position. I use it on my C7A2 and love it for distance shoots.

I will soon be adding the same foregrip to my AR Carbine in the same location, perhaps even closer to the mag well. For a Carbine AR the most natural hold (for me) is right at the mag well or slightly ahead of it for most shooting, especially fast traversing between targets. For longer pokes I can still extend my arm out on the hand guards if I want.
