Haven't had to deal with their customer service yet, so I can't say. For the amount of money one pays for them, you would think it would be stellar.

Go hang out on the 1911 forums and you will hear all you need to hear. It's sad when a company has grown to big to even help its customers. go buy a $500 rock island armory and if there is a problem they will help you. Or say a $900 Springfield and its a 2 week turn around no matter who you are. Also they usually throw in some more work on the gun for no charge.

Yupyup. Sure is. and it's not nearly as clean as it looks. It's had the shit beat out of it. lol. It's my "pop that damn coon out the window" gun when I go huntin at night, so it spends a lot of time rolling around on the dash and floorboards. lol. I also throw it in my pack when I go hunting. Cheaper than using my other guns if I get a deer that isn't quite dead yet.

Oh, and FWIW, I've out shot Kimbers with my Taurus 1911. It's just as accurate as any other 1911. Slide-to-barrel fit is super tight, too. IMO, it's just like every other gun. Capable of better accuracy than 90% of the shooters out there.

I sat there for a minute looking at the black one trying to figure out what brand it was. lol. I knew it was a .22, but I was thinking it was a GSG or a Chiappa.

Sig .22 is the same as a GSG. Made by the same company and just a different brand slapped on it.
