Look it up, it's a 30 caliber round like any other similar size but had a giant casing with tons of powder. Is very powerful and fun to shoot Perfect for large deer or elk. Real long distance round

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
Well, since my FFL was closed today and FedEx couldn't deliver my gun...I went and bought a different one in the mean time.
Savage 93R17 FVXP with OD green stock, heavy fluted barrel and a Bushnell 3-9X40
Then, I got a box of 200 .17HMR rounds for $25!

I already took it out. It shoots pretty damn straight. I literally went straight from the store to my shooting spot. I didn't have any of my gear really, so it's only sighted in to about 150'.
I'm really impressed with it, I had a Ruger American in the same caliber and I wasn't impressed at all. I sold it a couple months after getting it.
I also shot my exploding targets. I didn't separate it into 10 targets line you're supposed to. Holy fuck it was loud! I felt it 150' away

This has been a fun build. Breaking it in. Just under 500 rounds or so.

Nice.. Good looking little gun. I'm about to order some competition springs, black cherry grips, and a short reach trigger for my Beretta.
