I have the bigger ones that use the 18650 battery. They are good lights and bright for the cost. Just some of them stop working every now and then. But that is expected with the cost. I got 2 for $12 or something. Hard to beat.

I'm finding I need a pocket gun. Wouldn't hurt to have it as a backup anyway.

I think it would feel strange to have a gun in my pocket. Not that I'm criticizing anyone who caries that way, I just think that an IWB holster would be much better, and if I wanted a backup Id probably go with an ankle holster

The reason I'm looking is for when I can't IWB my normal things. Ultra concealed, nothing popping out of my waist line.

Ever carried IWB and had to squat down?

I don't trust those little ones with no trigger guard. If you haven't ever shot one I would suggest shooting one. Cause the one I tried from a friend of mine felt finicky and really felt dangerous. After that I would never carry one.

You really need a good one. If you go cheap on an ankle holster you will not like it. Not only does it need to be stable it needs good padding on the straps and holster. Cause it will start rubbing you raw and be uncomfortable.

Doing most activities can suck with IWB during the spring and summer wearing shorts and tshirts. Mine got caught in the waiting area chair at sport clips when I tried to stand up one time. Lol

I'm sadly not allowed to carry concealed yet (next year I will) but I can see that being somewhat of an issue. The reason I said I'd feel strange with a pocket carry is because I usually wear my iPhone holster on my pocket so Id have to break that habit, and I also have the habit of keeping my hands in my pockets which could also be a problem. It's all just personal preference of course. You most likely don't have that habit and it'd be 100% fine and comfortable for you.

I carry on airlines and 1 of the stipulations is the passengers cant see the weapon or ammo so I carry a ruger lcp in the front pocket of my jeans. Its comfortable and nobody knows I have it other than the staff.

Gun of the Week: North American Arms Black Widow:

Feel at ease. No trigger guard, but no protruding trigger. The hammer rests on the chamber and it's a SAO. So, the trigger isn't active until the hammer is fulley co˘ked anyway.

I've had my gun stick on more than a chair. Lol. She's just so sexy, she wants to be shown. She fights her way out.

You could always do something with your phone, but the habit of hands in your pocket isn't necessarily a bad habit.

It's a pocket gun. Where do you need your hand to be if you have to draw? Get my point?

You could open carry for the time being

I've thought about getting a lcp. I have the lc9 and it is a little big to put in your pocket and be comfortable unless I'm wearing cargo shorts or something with big pockets.

The oversized grip will help. The one I shot you could get one and a half fingers on it and it would almost jumper out of your hand.

I'll be getting an R51 when they become available. I'm not much of a fan of .380 anyway. Too snappy. That's why I moved up to .45 from .40

When you look at the ballistics of .22 mag anyway, it's actually pretty impressive

Side by side with a 5.7X28

Yeah I'm not a fan of the 380 either which is why I got the lc9 when they came out. I need to look at my options now since I haven't looked at what has come out recently.

I had always heard a 22 can sometimes cause more damage cause they can bounce around.
