Figured it was pretty rough to shoot. I shot a few clips out of a 45 XDS and the slim design dug into my hand on recoil. Definitely not something you just want to shoot on a regular occasion.

The XDs is fine for me. I can empty magazines in that all day. It shoots about the same as the PT145 I had but single instead of double stack, except the XDs is accurate whereas the PT145 was not. I could never get that thing to shoot consistently not matter what I ran through it. Since I also have a short barreled Kimber that shoots very well, I knew it wasn't me. Very consistent grouping and no stove pipes like with the Taurus.

Anyone know how good the smith and Wesson SD40 is overall? I heard its great but with a hard trigger pull so i am thinking about getting one and buying a trigger kit for it but want opinions

Ahh, same difference. I took the spring out and shot it upside down converting it into a clip.

Rofl then it would still be more like the magazine on a Mosin or Springfield :P
