The velocity is off a little on that chart. All the 17's I have are 2,500-2,550fps. Not 3k obviously, but not bad.

Just bought this lil guy a few hours ago! I got a $100 tip from work today so I only had to pay $110 out of pocket! And also got a brick of 550 rounds of Remington 22 let for only 21 dollars at academy with the gun!

yep the .17 HMR is a helluva round any way you look at it. cool vid too! eventually I still want the marlin I mentioned in .17 HMR, i think this .17 WSM might just be a lil excessive for what i wanted but the price was right so i jumped on it

that's really great to know, do you might my asking what he had on it for a scope? mine came without so i'll be looking into buying one, thinking about a Nikon but i might also just get something cheap.

lol I have a 17 hmr and yea deadly accurate! At the 100 yard range it actually gets boring to shoot being so accurate! So I crack out the ole mosin and do some manly shooting! But as far as scopes go I put a ncstar on mine and have had it for year it's pretty good scope!

I think my next one is going to be a Rock Island 1911 22TCM. Check out the balistics on the 22TCM, it's ridiculous.

It would probably be fun to shoot but if its just another short term fad you are stuck with a caliber you cant buy ammo for.

My local store of choice always has dozens of boxes of it. And Dillon will be releasing dies for it shortly, so reloading will be possible.

Really need to get motivated and start getting setup to do reloading. Need to take a class on it first.

Well in that case I might have to look a little closer. The wife unit is starting to question the insane amount of guns though so I might be out of luck.

I just like the velocity of it. Packing that much punch in a pistol is pretty cool.

Yeah faster than the fn and a heavier bullet, im reading up on it as we speak.
