Wiley X, Oakley, and several others make some good tactical eye pro. I wore nothing but ESS overseas but did have a pair of Wiley X that had a band that goes around your head to keep the glasses tight. Just a thought.....

Maybe that was poor choice of words.

No stores have .22 mag in stock here, I was referring to the price gougers.

Any thoughts on me buy a used Remmington 870? Id really like a used wing master or all american model.
Intended uses: squirrel, rabbit and bird hunting with the stock barrel. With police edition barrel (18.5"?) running slugs through it as a close range 30yard at MOST heavy heavy brush gun for deer hunting
12 ga by the way..

You'll get the Remington vs Mossberg debate if you're not careful. The 870 is a good shotgun. The price would be the factor.

I have a browning, mossberg, and rem 870, regardless of opinions the 870 is a proven shotgun. I wouldn't worry about "police edition" barrels, just get a barrel with removable chokes.

Here is a picture I took of my Mossberg a few years ago while hunting.

(not sure why it is on its side)

And here is the newest addition to my family, a beautiful Marlin 1894.
