I headed up north yesterday with a couple buddies to shoot in our rifles before deer season. I finally got to sight in the TC Venture .270 I got back in January. I must say, Im very impressed with this gun. It lives up to the MOA guarantee that TC puts on it, 1" groups at 100 yards were no problem even with factory loads. Im very confident with this gun that it will hit whatever I put in the crosshairs.

Peep sight? Yeah on some of my guns (like my M4) I prefer open sights over a scope.

well see what grandpa gives me this year lol they are kept in his house and the past 3 years he has given me the 30-06. i am trying to be postive but i never see a buck esp sicne in there for 48 hours but i plan to go both weekends this year, so well see what happens.
