Shoots really well. Added the compensator to help reduce muzzle rise. Shoots as good as any other 1911 I have shot.

I'm loving mine. It shoots very well, shoots better than the SIG 229 .40 I had. It's a nice tight fit. So smooth.
I'm really glad I got an upgraded model. My buddy has an $800ish Colt and is very jealous. Lol

I've heard both. Still don't feel like paying $50-$60 for 20 though. Bad enough paying $30ish for SD 45 acp. And the RIP stuff is 9mm

Brand has more to do with price than caliber

I gotta say I'm liking this ion bond finish. Cerakote is a really good product, but it came from the factory with the ion. Very tough

Its surprisingly tough, and if you keep it oiled, you rpolly wont hafta worry about normal holster wear. I had a High Standard compact 1911 a few years ago that had it. That gun was my edc til the ejector bent. Twice. Lol. Looked like brand new when I traded it in on my pt1911.
