That sucks. Hope you learned from the mistake.

Yeah I have shot one. The nice to shoot but the conversion kits are more than I am willing to pay to change mine over.

RRA was making a
.308 piston AR. They were 1200-1500. If you're into .308 it looked solid. They were making a 7.63x39 at platform as well.

Eh, if I get a .308 it will be a Rem 700 action that I build

That's what I had. They're awesome. Like the 7mm mag as well.

Eh, 7mm mag is nice but not worth it to me. I would prefer a .338 Lapua Mag.

But for now I will use my Rem 700 in 6mm and my built Nagant. Those work just fine for me.

Yea always wanted one but way to expensive for me. They were about 1600 bare and the trijicon on my 700 was 980... to much for me.

Agreed. That's why I don't have one either. Next bolt gun I get will be a 700 that I build. But I need to finish my 10/22 build first. It hit a snag right now but will be back on track soon.

Ouch. I once order a replacement part from Krebs custom. It would have replaced the Shepard's hook on my norinco akm they sent me one for a saiga. Called and bitched and got a free one plus a cool multi tool. Try it.

Kinda hard to bitch to myself to get something for free.

Oh you are talking about the stock. Eh not worth it. It is already sent back and they are going to refund my money.

Had one on my old 10/22 and didn't care for it to much. Besides this is being built to me a tack driver. So no side fold for it.

Hey guys, so I just got my FID card and I'm not sure what to get as a first gun. I was thinking of getting the marlin 7000, does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Well what are you looking for the gun to do? If you are just looking for a plinker I would suggest a Ruger 10/22
