It is full size, not sure about inches. It's a hogue over molded and its defiantly longer than the original wood one.

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!
I was referring to the M&P. I didn't know there's different internals. I'm not a fan of them so I didn't know all the models and variations. I just heard about it and that is a serious problem

Then familiarize yourself with them so you hand out correct info. His doesn't even have an external manual safety like a shield.

The problem is internal safeties. I'm not going to go do a bunch of research on a gun I'll never buy. It's not bad info. If he knows it good fine, anybody who is unsure should have it looked at to be SAFE. Others read this too and may realize they have one
You know the old saying...can never be too safe

I'd take a Glock over anything part of the reasoning is no external safety. Less parts to break less holes to jam up and less draw time to first shot. Its the same as an internal hammer, externals are just ridiculous after using an internal. Guns with external hammers have a better chance of getting stuck open thus not being able to defend yourself when you need it. Same with a safety. Not to mention if its a two stage trigger THEY SUCK. That's just my 2 cents I don't care what others carry. It's just some food for thought.

Draw time is not a factor in safety vs no safety. You should be clicking the safety off as you extend the gun, so the amount of time it takes isnt gonna change. It does, however, add one more step to the draw process, increasing your chances of botching it.

They're not internal hammer... they're a striker fired weapon.

I know. Who would have thought the weapon with the longest time in service would be a pile. Mind boggling. Lol
