I don't think some of you are really thinking your ideas through.

I think a lot of you forget about the Cold War and the "MAD" philosophy.

"Mutually Assured Destruction" If you do not know what MAD is.

If the US would use a Nuke, even a low yield nuke, the rest of the world would feel free to use them within their own conflicts. You can not be that naive to think that they would not.

"Do as I say, not as I do" is not a good argument to keep people from using them.

Is North Korea stupid for shooting up a little South Korean island, YES. But where did they shoot? They shot up an island that is in an area of sea that both countries claim, they did not shoot across the "Neutral Zone" between the countries. They chose that island because it is in a disputed part of the sea, that both countries claim.
