2nd Date? Need to ask my fellow forum friends ^_^ - Page 5

I met my current gf in high school. And we dated for a couple of months, then broke up because our schedules were opposite. After that, I had a couple of nice relationships and went on several dates... they never worked out because I was too nice. The one time I acted like an a-hole, she stuck around. lol. I liked that chick a lot and since I never got her attention, I just acted like I didn't care about her and that kinda drove her mad and so she started trying to meet with me more often. Then, I just realized she was no fun and left. lol. But I never lost any contact with my high school gf. 5 years later, we started dating again, and 5 years from then, I'm about to propose to her.

Acting like that is not my thing, but if you don't show any sort of confidence, the girl will loose interest and go get the fun they don't have with us somewhere else. Being there.

There's a reason they say nice guys finish last. IMHO, live your life and allow her the opportunity to join you on your adventures. Younger girls tend to not want a guy who will drop everything in an instance to answer their call. Show her you have a life and she's not you're #1 priority and she may become interested.

You complain about how all of your past GFs have cheated on you, honestly, I think the same applies here. You're likely too easy for them, they get bored knowing you will do what they say when they say, so they look for the challenge... aka the "*******" who tells them no.

Girls always say they like confidence. Think of a way you have shown confidence. Some good ol classics are simply "I'm taking you to XYZ restraunt" not "where do you want to go?" You don't need to do that every single time, but you need to show that you have some confidence in your decision making.

Think of it if you were on the other side of the equation, would you rather be with someone who constantly asked you "where do you want to go?" or someone who was like "I know of a place you've probably never been to, we're going there!" Take control of your relationships.

Tom, thank you for that saying really. I think whatever you said not to do I did and whatever I'm supposed to do, I didn't. And now I know why *******s and douche bags get all the girls and good guys are last. Yeah screw that, now I know and now I need some training. Thanks again.

I wouldn't say be an *******, just be confident. You shouldn't make decisions purely just to piss people off and to show how cool you are, but you should have your own life and know what you want in certain things. Tom had some good ideas of going places you want sometimes even if she doesn't like it. You need to show people who you are even if they don't like it. Also, if you have something planned don't always change your schedule to accommodate someone. If you had plans one weekend to hang out with friends or work on your truck don't necessarily just drop everything because your girl said so. IMO one of the main things that shows confidence is sticking up for what you don't like. If she wants to do something that you really hate, let her know and put up a little bit of a fight. In the same thing if you see someone doing something you don't like, such as hitting on your girl or her going out too often with a guy friend, confront her on it. Most of the time you can tell if someone is possibly cheating not by being jealous but by being observant.

Yeah I was confident and didn't make her my number one priority but I really don't know, it gives me time to think and to do better next time around.

First, why is this thread still open? Go to eharmony if you're having that much trouble.

Second, everyone in here has given you more than enough info to get you laid.. If you cant make it work, perhaps its time to turn to guys.

And finally, you shouldn't have let the original chicks bitch-ass friend go on the date in the first place. Even at that, the fact that you didnt shoot for a 3-way is beyond me.. And if she said no, leave her ass on the curb.

Thanks edge for the inspiring words ha..ha. Yeah I don't why it didn't work out but like I said before, fuck it and move on right? And her bitch ass friend wasn't even hot enough to even consider a three way at that point

. But whatever. And I have no clue why this thread is still going. Everyone gave me tips, advice and much more on this matter but it just didn't work out so thanks to everyone for your help but whats done is done, next.

dont be a ******* man, yes nice guys finish last but i rather be who i am and get the girl at some point then pretend to be some1 im not and kinda be bitter all the time. the whole key is when your single is not to try. things go alot smoother when you stop trying to plan them. just concentrate on you and just do you for a while and be yourself and if you see this girl around then you see her around. word will get back to her. but if you hear that she is upset one day or something just drop her a text makin sure she is ok. you got to let them come to you my friend. its kinda rare that the guy makes the first move now a days. but bottom line is, just take care of yourself for a while and the rest will just happen.

i actually kno a couple of girls in maryland...and yes they are sluts, actually one is a hot bisexual but thats nor here or there, but yeah here is hard to find a good lookin girl that isnt completely country or isnt just straight prep and snob..finding the best of both worlds is a bitch..so i just do me and whatever a come across i come across but always remember, try to keep it moist haha
