Land Rover Defender 130, its got 6 seats, a big load bed and a 2.4 155bhp Ford Turbo Diesel from the transit. Most of the other pickups available over here now look too car-like for me.

You can also fit 33x12.50 tires without a lift apparently.

I'd take one of those to. That looks like an awesome rig. How do they do in the mud? And I agree a lot of trucks are becoming to car like. What happened to kidney beating trucks that did hard work and were simple to maintain. And REAL BUMPERS!!!

Yeah, I saw a post on here someone built a new rear bumper that I'm going to use as an idea for my rear bumper. I wish I could remember who and give em credit. There is another guy that has something similar but it also wraps around the bedsides to protect them. I miss real bumpers like on my old chevs, or my grandpas 82 Ford. "I hit someone? Really? My bad!" lol

half way through the 1998 model year is when they started dogging them down with the computers and exhaust crap. if your lucky to get a pre computer Cummings they can be turned up for an unreal amount of power

Why is everyone so afraid of the computers on these things? I understand I have some formal training in them but I learned how to tweak and read the computers on them before I got into diesel tech. But I do agree they are easier to work on.
