Import a crewcab Ranger from Europe/Africa etc.

I would honestly hook up a wagon to my bike and pull the kids around that way, rather than drive an Astro/Safari. I have a deep hatred for those vans. But that's just me.

But you need somethin for the family, and the Astro will be great for that. Best of luck with it man!

Lifted vans can look sweet IMHO.

I agree but for some reason only those utility Fords with the hard body look. The Astro just looks like a bunch plastic.

Since i've been born, my dad has had a 1990 Astro and the current 1997 Safari (GMC's Astro) and both were great vans, I still prefer the Ranger, but, you didn't make to bad of a choice, the current one has 140k on it, and it runs like a top, haven't had any issues with it.

EDIT: Other than rust, thats what lead to the demise of the 90 and is leading to 97 gettin' sold.

yea the one i am trading for has only has 105,000 miles its a 98 awd did some research and its the same frame and susoension set up as the jimmys just wider so i am thinking 3'' body lift because the vans tuck the frame so much and maybe crank the T bars and shackels in the back with like 31s. a shit ton of kc lights just for fun and do something with the inside not sure what yet though and if i do a 3'' body i can fit a 350 no problem

p.s. the guy i am trading is a family friend and if he ever gets rid of it i get 1st shot at it
