Default Train Excitement Friday!

This happened behind my house. It happens every couple of years or so. I keep thinking that they are going to end up in my yard, then I would get a new fence! The train actually broke the rail and you can see it in the 2nd pic.

If your ranger meets a train it will have nothing left.
If that happens routinely they are not maintaing their tracks and someone is gonna die.
Although that is a wimpy ass unit(engine) and 80lb rail i think so train going pretty slow probably.
I think 80lb is 25mph max.
Here they do 80mph, and are about 2 miles long.

I'd bet that is probably some company's private spur. Crap maintenance and inspection..

Yup, Simpson Lumber. When they go by the house they are doing less than 20mph.

Makes sense. Up here we run into the spurs, so they are required to keep tracks up to par, we actually inspect them routinely and let them know what needs to be done.
