Default Oh the weather outside is frightful...

But the fire is so delightful, since there's no place to go.. let it snow.. let it snow.. let it sn.... wait no, no more snow.

So it started snowing here last night and I was thinking it wouldn't last long, but it's been snowing all day here and it's ice galore. When I left for school this morning I was behind some honda and he slammed on the brakes for some reason so I did and I lost control and went into the ditch. I sat there for a minute and calmed myself down and put it in 4by and ripped right outta there. (4x4 got fixed a couple weeks ago). Apparently in Regina (where I used to live) they got like 6 inches of snow and the snow drifts are just massive. There's ice everywhere and I counted 13 accidents on my route from my town into the city to the uni. I bought 200 lbs of sand bags and plopped them in my truck so now maybe I won't fishtail when I'm going 1 km/h because my back tires have no weight on them. I had a few close calls today cause I wasn't anticipating the extremely icy conditions, and I had some people almost rear end me, as well as the person behind me turn after me and they get in a head on collision because they lost traction and were stuck in the middle of oncomming traffic.

Not really feelin winter weather yet. But I guess for halloween it's supposed to get up to a whopping 10 degress celcius. Maybe just one jacket instead of 2.

Who all else has experienced their first snowfall? Anything exciting happen (accidents, close calls etc.)?

I love snow, but I just hate the ice and cold temperature that comes with it, haha...

I think it's gonna be like winter last year just longer and starting earlier. We had more snow in January and February last year than we did in all of winter from the year before.
But the snow didn't even start until mid-January. None in December.

This year it's already hitting freezing during the night and it's not even November. I think we will have snow by the first week December at the latest.

Especially considering how the northern states and Canada are already getting drilled. If you didn't notice by everyone's posts from up there.

I personally can't wait. I got a new Torsen rear axle I gotta try out
