I am a moderate conservative and I am disgusted with the Bush administration for their huge part in the meltdown. Clinton meddled with the banking regulations so unqualified borrowers could get mortgages, we all know how that worked out.......not to mention NAFTA.
Both parties are out to lunch! The tea party might be a good idea, but Odonnell and Palin are just nuts.

I think we need to give the current president time to try and fix the 8 year mess.
If anyone remembers when Bush and Gore were running we had a surplus of money not a deficit. and If Gore would have become president we probably would not be in this mess today.

So give Barrack H. Obama a chance I say he def. did not make the problem.

Obama has tripled the deficit that Bush ran up. He has taken over the banks, car companies, insurance companies, taken over healthcare which has already driven up health insurance (opposite of what he promised) ran the unemployment as high as 10% after his "stimulus" that he promised if we passed would not go above 8.5%....need I go on?
You're right that Obama didn't do this. He hasn't done anything to fix it either. Give him more time? Come on dude. We give him anymore time, we won't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.
As far as Bush spending a trillion bucks...he did it over his 8 years. Obama did it in his first year. With what to show for it? 400,000 new jobless claims a week, more people on food stamps than ever, raising taxes on Jan 1 because his cronies decided that they'd rather listen to Colbert than vote to stay the Bush tax cuts (which did not run up the deficit as claimed by many libs) it wasn't the gov's money to begin with.
What about the moratorium on drilling in the gulf? All those jobs lost. For what reason? because 1 oil platform had issues? Give me a break. My truck breaks down, you want Ford to demand you give yours back too?
He was given a chance, guy. So far, he's blown it. We are in this mess right now because of him not Bush. It's been almost two years. This is HIS economy now. This is his baby. It's time he take responsibility for it and move back to the center and quit pandering to the far left so that our government is once again representative of the American people.

to be fair, all politicians are greedy and make special deals, but I think Obama is not getting the stuff done because the PARTY of NO is still saying NO
