I'm ready for snow, got all my work done on my plow rig way back in the spring, finished refurbishing the plow in june. I can't wait...!
Camera angle and a little lens distortion. But it is a 6ft box. Makes the rear tire look bigger to.

I'm ready for Winter!!

Too bad every time it gets cold here, it gets hot a week later.

Ford didn't make enough longbed Rangers. Especially in higher trim levels. I would absolutely go crazy for a factory Single Cab Longbed Edge 4x4. Thanks Ford, for not making one of my dream trucks. I guess if you want anything done right, you have to do it yourself.

lol.j/k.

The engine seems to warm up faster and being that I'm generally heading to work at 4:30 to 5:00 in the morning, any little bit to make the morning a little more bearable, the better. I am not a morning person but when you have a choice of daylight shift, daylight shift, and day light shift and you hate the cold, every little bit helps.

EDIT: Also, I'm parked out on the street, no garage to help things out.

I would love to. My job and my daughter keep me here. Once I retire, I'm definitely moving south.

One thing if you get a lot of snow and bother to do it..is if you shovel/pile it up around the base of a home...mobile homes especially...it can provide insulation and reduce heating costs a lot. It is easy to hate winter if you don't do any thing that requires snow..like winter sports..but if you do it is possible to look forward to winter and hope for SNOW!!!
Piling snow around a house can cause basement leak issues not to mention I have enough back issues as it is...

The only thing I do in the snow volunarily is hunt, otherwise, you can keep it.

Wink Re: Who's ready for winter?..

yea we had some cooler temps early this year, like last weekend a nite or two down to almost 20* so i checked my antifreeze.Good for -25* at least good enough till we get a deep freeze, which could be early this year instead of right at the end of winter or around x-mas like last couple years.
