As if Toyota wasn't in enough trouble..

(Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp said on Thursday it would recall 1.3 million Corolla and Matrix cars in the United States and Canada because of defective engine control modules that could cause the vehicles to stall.
The recall of the Corolla and Matrix cars adds to the 11 million vehicles Toyota has recalled in the past year, mostly for unintended acceleration, denting its reputation for quality and gaining intense scrutiny by U.S. safety regulators.
General Motors Co also said on Thursday that some 200,000 Pontiac Vibes, a sister car to the Toyota Matrix, would be recalled in the United States and Canada because of the same issue.

I thought that this recall was already out around 2 months ago. I am pretty sure that it came out the same week when my wife bought her 2011 Camry. I remember making fun of her for it.
Damn Toyotas! LOL

Honestly the only vehicle toyota really has going for them is the tacoma. It's the only thing that hasn't had any major issues. If I ever bought a toyota I would only look at a tacoma. the rest have just gone down hill.

The tacoma was the center of a huge fail when they discovered it would rust out of control on the first gen. Toyota didn't make it too public that they had a buy back policy because rust would be eating through the frame so quickly, it couldn't be repaired.

All of Toyota's trucks are having frame issues from what I understand. A fellow rifle range member had his frame replaced at no cost to him by Toyota for his Tundra.
