I like them because they are relatively cheap and reasonable to insure because no one in their right mind would steal a Ranger.
The way I look at it.......a vehicle can be destroyed or stolen in the blink of an eye so I will never buy an expensive or exotic car and risk losing thousands or several thousands in one incident.
I keep my trucks until they are worn out and the Lima and Duratec 2.3s are hard to kill.
The only issue I have with the Rangers is the gas tank and battery are on the drivers side and since I am 260 lbs the trucks have always had a lean to them.

you sure you don't have some worn bushings...im 300lbs and my 95 doesn't lean...you could throw some sand on the otherside even with the gas tank to balance it out

Re: Ranger Haters
if people in MN were to start hating Rangers, they'd be hating a LOT of them.

Re: Ranger Haters
I traded a 2001 5.4L F150 XLT ex-cab 4x4 for a 2010 XLT ex-cab 4x2 Ranger - you couldn't get me to trade back even if you paid me for both. I do miss the extra roomy cab though. an extra seat that would fit more than a small child would be nice for when the need arose.

Re: Ranger Haters
I haven't really gotten any shit for my truck bc most of the people i know either have a ford or like them. then again, i've only had it for a few months. I bought my truck used, and when buying used, 9 times out of 10 ford is the way to go because they take care of their vehicles because they have pride in what they own. and idk why people bash ford, i mean they didn't take a bailout.
