She was 14 Yrs Old, Half German Shepard half golden retriever. She was a great dog, We found out a month ago she had cancer. Since then she had lost twelve pounds and was having trouble walking. (German Shepards hips give out) It was a sad day. Especially for my little sister who is 13 she has been there since she was born.

I was there when they put her down and they gave her the shot and i got light headed and had to leave the room, They had to give her another one because her heart was still beating,
We had her Cremated so she will always be with us

Sorry man, I know that is hard. A few years ago I had to have mom's pug put down, it was not my dog but still hard to do. I have a American Eskimo that is 15 and keep hoping that he goes in his sleep.

i have a black lab puppy i just got. hes about 6 or 7 months old im unsure of his birthday. he gets excited when my gfs car or my truck pulls up and runs toward you. well yestarday he ran under her tire and there was nothing she could do. i haven't had him long but am attached to him more than i have any other dog. luckly after a stay over night at the vets and still on some medication he should be fine. when it happen he wouldnt let you get near him. but i finally got him to let me rub him to calm him down. today hes limping but back to his playful self. ive been tore up ever since it happen to the time i picked him up today. so i can't even imagine what you had to go through.

Oh man the second shot thing!

When I had to get my dog put down (liver failure from a new hip medicine) I didn't wig out until I got home and saw her footprints and stuff near her dog house. Then I started bawling. Neighbors were probably like dang should we do something?

I hate to hear that man. I know that sucks. I found out Friday that my dog has heartworms. He was only off the HW pill for like 4 months. We are gonna treat him for them but that will be very expensive. I just hope he pulls through. I know how you feel because, I have lost a few dogs before. I am afraid it won't be long before I lose another one. You will always, and I mean ALWAYS have the memories of all the times you spent together. Cherish your memories and they will last a lifetime.

Sad to hear the news. I miss my dog just going on vacation, so I can only imagine what you had to go through. I also plan to have my dog cremated so when I die both of our ashes can be spread together.
