First car was an 04 corolla that I bought during the summer of 08. Bank loan with my dad as a co-signer. Bought a new ranger a month ago with a loan from Ford Canada and didn't need a co-signer. Made me feel old.

I bought my truck myself with no help at all. Cost me 3500$ and it was totaled. I used to sell gum in middle school outta my locker and then I moved up to buying friends phones and ipods and selling them on ebay. Then started going on craigslist and buying and selling phones and now I'm a powerseller and then I got a few jobs and that's how I pay for gas and insurance and I'm 17 still in high school

my first truck was a hand me down 1986 ranger from my dad but my parents wouldnt let me drive unless i had a job. my old man said if i wanted the truck i had to work for it so on my 16th B-day i rode my bike to the local movie theater and got myself a job. it was enough to put gas in the truck, pay for insurance and repairs as well as bank some for the down payment on the loan for the 1996 ranger i bought 2 years later. there was only one time that i had to borrow money from my dad and that was when i blew the trans on the 86. at 16 or 17, dont remember how old i was now but i couldnt afford $1200 to have it re-built. only making $5.15 an hour i wasnt able to pay him back quikly so he let me do odd jobs around his body shop to repay him. since then ive payed cash for a couple of my vehicles or if i did have to get a loan for them i payed them off quick. i hate owing money to banks. i payed my F-150 off in a year. work work work!

My first car was a 1965 Chevy Belair back in 1972 , big as a house for 40 bucks . 6 Cylinder , 4 door , auto . Had it for a coule of years before I blew a piston . Interior was destroyed so I ripped it out and put in some new cloth and seat covers . Primer red and was mine .....

My 1st I got in 97 it was a 92 ranger single cab 2wd with a 3.0 and 5speed white and had mustang rims on it. I loved that truck and washed and waxed it every week lol. The deal my parents made for me was I had to have a job and be able to make the payments, pay insurance, gas, and whatever I wanted to do with it as far as stereo, wheels and tires, tint,etc.. They basically showed up with it one night test driving it and had me drive it to see if I liked it and i fell in love. They paid 1000 down on it and cosigned on a loan for me. Their only rule was they wouldnt let me get a 4wd cus they knew better lol. I felt a pretty good sense of pride knowing I had and was working for it minus the down payment. I have so many memories with that truck.
