This day means a lot to me.
First of Thank you so much to those that have served and are still serving. I lost a cousin in Iraq, my grandfather two years ago to cancer (even though he survived WWII) and my gf is also an active member of our armed services. Second without these brave individuals, some gave all, all gave some, we would not be here and able to be who we are today. For all we know we could be speaking Japanese, or German. I'm glad we never found out which. We could be the US and the Confederate States of America, we could be a lot of things. Think about it, if your ancestors in the military didn't serve, what may have happened? While things aren't perfect, they certainly could me much worse for us.

Thread bump for the holiday. I hope everyone has a great weekend but remember what the weekend and day are for. Someone sacrificed for your freedoms. Some a little, some gave everything they had. Take the time to remember and honor them.

It means, "THANK YOU!!!!" to all who have, do, and will serve. on another note, it means I cant go to tha beach (here in P'cola, all the gay's join together and go to the beach) :/
