They won't learn anything by plagiarism. By cheating in University they are taking a huge risk and are trying anything to pass and believe that they will for sure get a job if by some miracle they actually make it through school. There are dumb-asses like that everywhere, in all levels of education, that think by copying or cheating that they are tricking the system, but really they are tricking themselves by getting good grades but not even knowing what they just handed in. The whole point of school is to learn and gain knowledge but some people just think the whole point of school is to get that degree and get a good job. In a way that is true, but in order to get that good job you need to actually know something.
Anyways, my main point/motto is: Fuck them, don't let them get to you, they are just fucking themselves over in the long run.

EDIT: Never really read any of the posts after the first, but I guess this is still somewhat relevant.

If it were me , I would finish up and get on to another college . Since the gov't is paying , I am sure after you earn some more credits , You can be accepted into a better school . Just don't stop trying to better yourself ....

Well then don't worry what those other people do man. When it comes down to it, after school they won't know what to do. You had the initiative to do it on your own without ripping off stuff from the net. You wil have a head start in the working world after school, they won't because they are looking for the easy route. Just concentrate on your grades and people will see right through them.

All you need to do is report them, if the teacher doesn't care, i'm sure the principal will. It's a gov thing, no one wants to be caught in a cheating scandal.

I wrote a letter to the professor. If this dude is still in the class 2 wks from now, I'm taking it up with my campus dean. Hopefully they take this seriously and get this guy out of class. To do nothing sets a precedence for everyone else.

dude i feel your pain. i go to a community college with a bunch of morons and i work in retail as well. i personally dont understand how we function as a society with as many idiots and complete morons as there are.

but hey theyre there so i guess you gotta deal with it.

edit: oh and some of the teachers at a CC. i had a sociology, yeah a sociology teacher, who spend the WHOLE, not kidding, THE WHOLE semester talking about how much he hates gays and middle easterners and about how much his rich ass son makes.
