just because it got approved, doesn't mean it will come to fruition. with how many people it has pissed off, i guarantee the construction of said wasted materials will be sabotaged countless times, and hopefully they will stop building it before it gets too far.

Here is where I might get flamed...I care less about the building of the Islamic learning center...apparently it's going to be a "community center" more than an actual place of worship....be that as it may...I belive in America and the freedoms that we have...one of those is freedom of religion....they own the property, they can build whatever it is and I must tolerate it, just like they tolerate my church (I'm christian)
However....what concerns ME is where is the money coming from, which they WILL not answer....The question HAS been asked...and no one has answered it....Is the money coming from the same school "learning" centers that are in Saudi, or Iran, that teach islamic extreemism? That's the question I want answered....is it really musulims attempting to mend fences and show their loving ways.....or is it a ploy to recruit, and slap the faces by using our freedoms against us....knowing the money trail would solve these questions

I'm still trying to figure out how people see it as a inside job? I have seen the documentaries & so on & still don"t see it as a inside job. They are not to ignorant or lack the funds to do so obviously. Bin Laden does have I believe 7 degrees? & 1 of which I know is a PHD.Lets also not forget his family Saudi Arabia has more money then us 11k register users on the site combined. Just because they are Muslim extremist does not mean they are not smarter then half of the people in this forum.
