Default Need mech. help...Jeep related...

So I may be buying a CJ7 soon but it won't crank. There is power everywhere and getting power to the starter, but it won't turn over. Its been sitting down for a year, and I'm thinking I'm looking at either a bad solenoid switch or a seized up starter? Any help would be appreciated, and I would just go buy a solenoid and starter for it, but there is one more guy looking at it. Just got it at our house trying to see if we can get it running.

Before you do any of that, try to crank the motor over by hand, by putting abolt on the crank pulley and using a breaker bar.

Its all good now...finally found the switch hot wire, and it instantly turned over. Poured a little gas in the carbatator and she fired right up. Drove her around the yard for about 30 minutes checking the 4wd and everything else. It ran awesome to have not been cranked in at least a year
