That’s smart to do, have everything be working correctly, I’m thinking next year will be the year I will buy. Got a tentave job offer that sounds like it will go through so if I get it I will be making a wage that will get me into a house.

well yours truly put the flooring in, and i didn't realize you had to stagger the joints..lesson learned with that one. and experienced contractor like you would pick that out in a heartbeat like you just did haha. Some of the cuts dont fit quite right and some of the joints don't fit real nice but live and learn as they say

You will like the mini split system, they are crazy efficient, I’m partial to Mitsubishi equipment cause that is what I’m most familiar with but Fujitsu is good to. Is it Heat pump or straight cool?

Heat pump. Will help us save on heating oil

That’s good, tips of advice if you haven’t heard these already, make sure that both heads are in the same mode if you run both at the same time, and don’t use automatic mode as that tries to heat/cool at the set temp and it ends up fighting itself and will give error messages if one tries to heat while the other is cooling. Heat only in the winter and Cool only in the summer and you will be fine. One of the most common calls I get is from people not keeping them the same. Almost 4 years in the hvac field have seen it many times.
