I’m gonna do a little research on it, looks like the motor was replaced probably a long time ago but it is a smaller motor than what the data tag said so I might try to source a new one, I looked it over it’s built really well.

In the middle of getting bullet proofed right now other wise it's been doing just fine

Nice. How many miles are on it now and how many were on it when you bought it? I’m trying to figure out a good mileage to buy one at. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to pay extra for one with let’s say 90k miles vs one that has like 150k miles.

160k when I bought it 230k now. From what I understand if a 6.0 is gonna be a problem its gonna show in the early mileage.

Seriously considering getting a set of these for the Jeep, after I drove my folk’s Jeep that has full doors I really liked how quiet it was inside. But people want well over $1000 for a set of full doors for Jeeps here then I would have to paint them and find matching door panels to my interior.

Yeah that makes sense. So low to mid 100k mile range seems to be a good spot.

Probably, one of the things I would recommend is if you dont have one already get a obd2 scanner that will let you read the oil temp and coolant temp while the truck is running and when you go to look at a truck take it for a drive and get it up to temp. Check the two temps and make sure they stay within 15* of each other if they get way off from each other that truck has got some work coming in the very near future.
