Default Sport trac

Anybody have one? My 03 has issues with tge gas pump nozzle sitting at a weird angle. Sometimes it sprays back. Yall have this issue or is mine special?

No its quite solid and the pipe doesnt appear rotted it just sits at a weird angle and every once in a while it sprays gas back out

I mean like the nozzle isn't going in all way, mine sits way out no matter how I set it, I can put it in all the way and hold it but it comes back out if I let go, it doesn't really spit but it does back flow slightly around the opening

Could the filler tube be kinked or occluded in any way that wouldn't allow the gas pump to rent inside all the way? No other sport Trac I've seen has done that.

Maybe i got it with 200k mi on it. Ive put another 70k on it. Im sure the fuel pump has been changed at some point. Maybe its just not on right. It works fine it just becomes a pita sometimes
