Default More moostang trouble:(

Hello again friends! I am needing some advice. Lately when I turn left, there is a popping noise. I thought it might be the CV joint but after some searching, I do not think it is that since it only seems to pop once and there is no rattling sound. SO I am looking for some other options it might be. Ball joint maybe?

I would assume it would be the driver side that would be bad since it is when I turn left but neither wheel has any up or down play... Could a ball joint be bad even if it has no play?

Well, you don't have cv joints...

My guess would be on a strut mount.

A strut mount would most likely keep popping while turning where as mine is just one pop per turn usually. It also won't make the noise unless I'm moving which is odd... and I'm not sure about a sway bar problem... never had one make noise before

My money is still on a strut mount, sway bar links would make noise going over bumps in a straight line.

Yeah, open the hood, stick your head by it and have someone turn the wheel side to side, you'll hear it.
