Still not the best exercise apparently, my gut is sticking around.

Well, you could buy a mtn bike but if you bought the bmx and got hurt, there's always the chance that the nurse giving you a sponge bath at the hospital would be a hottie. Seriously though, knee issues with machines other than treadmills?

ellipticals treadmills bikes, they all start hurting my knees about the time i get my heart & lungs conditioned. kinda sucks, cause i'll get into it for a week or two and then when it gets fun, here comes the pain

that's true gluten allergic people are very rare, i don't know why everybody thinks they are allergic. i think they are just confused or using it as an excuse lol!
but my wife isn't allergic either. there's a problem in her intestines where when the presence of gluten causes the natural bacteria to overgrow. and then the bacteria starts to metabolize the nutrients in the intestines before it gets a chance to uptake into the blood stream. and the bacteria specifically like to eat up whatever helps keep the thyroid healthy. it took two years for a GI to figure this out. its insane!

thanks! and i want a bmx bike really bad lol, but i'd hurt myself!
something for an alternative, i'm thinking about pouring a small pad to split wood on. i love splitting wood anyway, and my knees don't let me do normal cardio lol, i just need a steady supply of wood and a place to store it so i can sell it this winter lol
my neighbors would hate it though!
|
Rob I would gladly provide room & board if you come up and split my woodpile. Roughly 8-10 cords. You'll either be in shape or dead lol

How about swimming (even though you'd have to get a membership somewhere)? There's also rowing, and if not a machine then the real McCoy or maybe a kayak. Those are fun!

The new ones look like a mini van and the older ones are well old. I actually liked the boxy look.

I liked the boxy look until the new WK2 came out.
The new Expeditions look decent but fuck they are $60,000

I had a 2011 Jeep gc as a rental, it was nice.
The pilot I can get loaded for 28k, and it would last us at least 10 years

i would love to try out a kayak or something like that! the water is just far enough away that it would be a once a week type deal tho. i love to swim to, but my shoulders dont lol, how's your shoulder doing?
----------
anybody here do burpees? i did 2x10, 1x 15, 1x20, and then 1x10, each set between farmers walks. anybody do farmers walks? lol, those two exercises along with one of those cheap little floor peddlers has been doing my cardio for me lately.the peddler isn't enough resistance to hurt the knee but gets a tiny bit of sweat going in about 15 minutes. pretty good preworkout warmup. burpees and farmers walks always come after the workout!
