If that is what you want, why not get it?

I thought the same until I actually got an F150. I was totally against owning a full size truck. Then once I actually got one 5 years ago due to growing family; I could never go back. The ride quality (even with my rough terrain tires) is far superior, the towing is far superior, I get BETTER gas mileage than I did in the ranger. I have 160 more horsepower, V8 rumble, MASSIVE amounts of room in my crew cab, creature comforts, etc.... I actually drove my father-in-laws 06 Edge the other day and felt like I was in a small closet with the walls about to close in on me haha.
But as you stated the price is rediculous. I paid $14,500 back in 08 for my 2006 Ranger Supercap 4x4. It was manual windows, two doors, but I LOVED that truck. Fast forward to 2016 and I am back in a full size that cost me $30000. Talk about sticker shock. The bad part is I settled for a mid grade XLT when I really wanted an FX4 F150. But I was looking at $5000 to $8000 more to get that truck USED.

I I loved my F-150 too. Mine was a 2011 FX4. The only problem was the ecoboost engine. I only paid $27,000 for it but it had I think 70,000 miles on it already

You have the terrible condensation issues with the intercooler and such? All I hear is about rave reviews from EB owners nowadays. I drove one and was just not impressed. Too quiet too

It's faster than the 5.0. But yeah terribly quiet. But it's freaking fast with few mods. 12s in the quarter tune only truck
I had the oil level rising with fuel dilution issue causing my cam phasers and tensioners to go slack and start clapping on cold starts.
I drove the crap out of mine and always had it floored so I never had many issues with the condensation in the intercooler. It did happen one morning to me though. I was merging onto the highway and it started bucking and dying and sputtering so bad
Dealership wouldn't do anything about it saying they couldn't replicate it even though I have video proof of a doing it every fucking morning. I traded the piece of shit off and literally two weeks later Ford released a TSB to replace all that shit
Fuck Ford
