Yeah, burying the oil filter inside a nest of coolant hoses was a brilliant idea....and that's only one of the fire issues it has.

The ugly one on my mind was the vanishing engine coolant, cars subsequently overheating from running low coolant and catching fire. What in the hell ever happened to a gauge or an idiot light alerting a driver to engine overheating, the indicators that people survived with for DECADES, and cars did NOT catch fire but sometimes there was permanent engine damage, oil consumption for example? Instead, today with the modern 1.6L EcoBoost, there is a widespread problem surfacing with that engine consuming coolant, customers don't think about checking and refilling the burp tank every 2-4 weeks (yes, multiple complaints on this one) and hey, I wouldn't either, more like with a cooling system in good order you *maybe* add a few ounces a couple times a year, and anyway, the POS overheats and starts the car on fire. And Ford is being cattle prodded by .gov to fix it, so instead of curing the vanishing coolant the f*ckers are working on a PCM flash to revise how the driver is notified of an overheating condition. This because, Ford doesn't want .gov to force them to do a mandatory recall. I have a problem with that, that's NOT fixing a problem, that's a real shittastic cover up designed to lessen the blow to corporate profits and in the end, it will still drink coolant when it should NOT, and Ford wants to blow it off on consumers under the guise of, "normal". Like I said, better off with the car burning and collecting on the insurance.

I've got the 2.0 ecoboost in my wifes escape. That thing screams for a small SUV. And having the AWD you can REAAAAALLY get going from a stop.

With those dents and the shoe it is nothing more than the average mustang driver plowing crowds.

Hopefully that is the joke he is going for.
