Lmao, from what I've gathered from other electricians and plumbers they mostly use milwaukee except for the old timers, on their Bosch or the Dewalt xrp, he must make decent money to be a milwaukee where, they're big money for the newer fuel series and even a little pricey for the previous m18 sets

We have the m12 series impacts and drills at work. And a few of the radios. They're pretty nice.

He doesn't make anywhere near what he should for what he does. His stuff is all a couple years old, not their latest.
I need new ones for myself, but I am just using them for DIY stuff. I will probably pick up Home Depot's brand, don't remember the name right now.

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread 2016 (V2.0)
We use Milwaukee at work. I have since started to replace my snap on and craftsman stuff with Milwaukee. Love the stuff. Have a 12 volt drill, 1/4 inch impact driver, Bluetooth speaker, 18 volt drill and led flashlight. Been buying it piece by piece at home depot when it comes on sale. Only have about $240 invested in all that.

At home I just bought a makita 1/2" hammer drill & 1/4" hex impact driver set, really liking them so far but haven't used them much.
At work ( maintenance department for a private housing development) we've got a dewalt tool kit, 18 volt and they get the shit beat out of them. Only issues so far are the sawzall had the contacts for the battery break off. Had to take the entire trigger apart but managed to replace them with the prongs from an old electrical receptacle lol. The set is over 5 years old, ugly as sin and still used every day.
My father, a heavy truck and equipment mechanic, recently bought himself a Milwaukee kit that included a 1/2" cordless impact, 1/2" hammer drill and 1/4" impact. All the fuel series. I think that 1/2" impact is more powerful than some air guns I've used, very impressed

Nope. I doubt it. Ball joints squeak or cause clunking. What type of vehicle and where is the noise coming from?

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread 2016 (V2.0)
04 mountaineer awd. Noise seems to be coming from the front left(drivers) side. Bearing was bad and replaced and eliminated the noise I had at higher speeds. But anywhere from 5-35ish miles an hour I have a loud deep pitched grinding noise. Checked everything I could think of today. Brakes are good. Nothing rubbing Cv axles don't make noise at full lock either direction

My bosses son is a diesel mechanic, he uses that 1/2 impact and says the same thing, I'd love to try one for myself !

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread 2016 (V2.0)
The axle on those likes to transfer noise from one side to the other.
