If he can drive a manual he can drive a 5spd, 6, 3 hell any amount. I haven't daily driven a manual in years but I can get in one and have no issues.

The old column shift was a drag. The Peterbuilt was going to take a ton more practice.

I was thinking about getting a 01-05 Sport Trac as a prerunner project, but they're expensive around here. 5-10k for Sport Tracs

I mean you still can import it even though it wouldn't meet the reqs. But you can't do much with the vehicle. I think non-compliant vehicles can only be used for racing, repairing, or display.

I know that. Pretty sure his last manual was a 4 spd. I'll know more tomorrow.

Taking the HIDs out tomorrow and putting stock halogens back in it. Thats the final thing I have to do lol. Took the x-pipe off, put stock bulbs back in the cluster and stock headlights back in.

Same deal I was in, then one day I came across 2 sets for 100ish... first set the seller backed out, second set (a member) worked out well and made us both happy!

I know, right? I backed all the way down my driveway few days ago so I could change the oil in my truck and my car and wife's car in front of my truck...I'm hoping when I deal with it tomorrow the bead is still seated, otherwise it's gonna be lame pulling forward to take it off. Side note, I'm not sure I can even lower my spare tire because the body lift blocks the mechanism, haha.

You can drop the spare with a body lift. Doesn't block anything. Dropped the spares on both my 99 and 05 after the body lift install
